  • Liturgical Dance Aerobics Scores High With Seniors

    by Bobby Jo Clifford
    St. Petersburg Senior Gazette

First there was the old Shaker tune, "I Danced in the Morning." Then there was Michael Flattley and "The Lord of the Dance." Oh, and we mustn't forget that country hit from a few years ago, "I Hope you Dance." It seems everyone wants to shake their groove thing these days. • Catholic Features: Priest Makes Ordinary Time Extraordinary

    by Barbara Hamilton
    God Gazette Features Editor

It is the longest season on the Church's calendar and Father Paul Meadows hates it. "Ordinary time is just so blasé," he said in his living room at the rectory of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Davison, MI.

    CLAMOR Heard Loud and Clear

    by Tom Gaspar
    Massachusetts Catholic Inquisitor

While many Americans have been busy listening to the rhetoric spewing from the mouths of certain politicians as they prepare for the coming mid-term elections, other people have been doing some talking of there own. And what started as a grass roots effort in a small mid-Michigan town has exploded with a sound that's bound to be heard.
